Remember the events
It all began in 1971 in Baltimore, MD. A small group of priests, deacons, and women religious gathered at the ICDA convention to discuss the needs of Pastoral Workers working with the Deaf. Led by Rev. David Walsh, CSsR, the group established the National Catholic Office for the Deaf. Over these 40 years there have been many changes, challenges and advancements.
